Madison Thorstenson
Hello! I’m Madison Thorstenson, a dedicated Master’s-Level Marriage and Family Therapy Intern under the supervision of Stephanie Moore. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University (2025) and currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northwestern University (anticipated graduation August 2027), I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges and foster meaningful relationships.
I offer flexible appointment times on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, welcoming individuals, couples, and families across all ages and backgrounds. Whether you prefer in-person or telehealth sessions, I strive to meet you where you are. My integrative approach draws from a variety of evidence-based theories and interventions, always tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to foster a safe, supportive environment where you can explore, reflect, and grow without fear of judgment. My experience includes working with children with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families, as well as training in addressing relational issues for couples and families.
Beyond counseling, I find inspiration in nature, time with my dogs and loved ones, reading, and crocheting. I am committed to walking alongside you as you heal, grow, and strengthen both your relationships and your sense of self.
