Annie Walker, LPC-Supervisee
Hi! My name is Annie Walker. I am an LPC Supervisee with 14 years of counseling experience.
I grew up in Sioux Falls and got my Bachelor's degree from Augustana and a Master's in Counseling from SDSU. After working for 14 years as a school counselor, I felt called to make the move to private practice counseling. I offer a safe space to process grief, worries, frustration, and confusion around life's daily challenges. I want my clients to feel light and more supported when they leave my office. I meet with kids of all ages as well as adults.
I have been a part of a local grief support organization called Sad Isn't Bad and have led many grief groups over the years. I have learned with grief, there is no right path, but there are ways to support yourself and others. If loss is something you are going through, whether recent or long ago, my goal is to be part of that support system for you.
Outside of work, you can find me walking my hyperactive rescue puppy, Roscoe, reading, or soaking up time with family and friends.
